Another OSV shot early on Sunday morning. Its about 8 degrees during this shot but I could have stood on this bridge for much longer. The water was freezing over but because of the extreme cold fog was forming just above it. It was quite an awesome sight.
Hampton and I went on an overnight with scouts this weekend and had a blast. It started about an 1 hour after the last snow from a storm had fallen so Old Sturbridge Village was like a winter wonderland.
Growing out this beard, plus we finally got some snow today!
December Photos are up! I promise I am going to finish the 365 book and perhaps spin it into a video montage. I am also thinking about doing a daily ‘on this day post’ which will let me go through my archive of photos as well as post a daily if I am so inclined. We’ll see what comes up in the next month or so. Right now I’m chillin.
I watched this with tears as I thought about my 365 last year and how what he is doing compares and contrasts with my own life. Since January first I have only taken pictures 3 days and each day I wake up feeling like I have lost something, like there was no reason to find that perfect photo for the day…there is a reason, I just don’t know it yet.
A beautiful New Year’s day at the bike path
365 Project - Day 365
Last minute idea before everyone went to bed. Not perfect but you know what, thats what 365 is all about. Its been quite a year and I have really enjoyed doing this project. I expect that I will continue to post to the blog just not every single day. I also plan on doing something with the 365 photos as I reflect on what I have learned this year.
Happy New Year!
365 Project - Day 364
Gavin and little fumbles get ready for the long awaited model rocket launch. I had my SLR but had left all my memory cards at home. Luckily I had my phone :)

365 Project - Day 361
Christmas time is family time. Grandpa and grandma stop by on their way back home.
365 Project - Day 360
5 days left of this project and I went with the kids and my mother-in-law to the Pompeii exhibit at the museum of science. The body casts were just a small part of it but the emotional impact on me was quite high. I only took a few pics because I was simply overwhelmed. This is not the best shot but i wanted you to see the face of this person who died in this most grotesque fashion.
365 Project - Day 359
Christmas morning and my sons face says it all…we have too many presents here.
365 Project - Day 358
