I had to put this on my site. For some reason it makes me smile from ear to ear. Have a great Friday and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

So this is what I look like old? Wow?! The transformer does a pretty decent job. My head is a bit turned in the picture so its not spot on, but interesting none the less. Clicking on the picture will bring you to an album of transforms.

You can use the Perception Laboratory’s Face Transformer to change the age, race or sex of a facial image, to transform it to the style of a famous artist, to make an exagerated caricature or even make an ape of yourself!

How to be a Great Dad
Yeah yeah, I know, two posts in one day and you hate the spam. Well I just came across this and I just couldn’t wait to post it, plus I like the guys blog. Enjoy and always be good. I find that is pretty much the answer to all questions especially when it comes to raising kids.

It is my lifelong goal to be the best dad possible, and while there are many ways I can still improve, I think I’m a pretty great dad already, when I sit back and think about it. I know there are some readers who are just starting out in their careers as dads, and this post is for you.

I’m a Heroes fan so I thought I would throw this out there. I saw it on Saturday and laughed pretty hard, as always someone comes through and posts it to youtube.

Dow 13K and the Second Great Depression

The article is about our current state of economic affairs. Bascially its says Gen X’ers like myself are struggling to stay afloat while we watch our parents live it up (a terse summary I must say); the exact opposite of what life used to be like. I can relate completely to this article. Why must I have to make so much money? Why can’t I just manage a small forest someplace like my degree would have me do, or teach like I would like to do? The answer is society and it has gotten out of hand. Anyway a good read for anyone concerned about where this is all going.

chernobyl image by ENTJ

“I spent the day in Chernobyl. One of my Kiev game dev friends hooked me up with a private tour, so I decided to go for the day to check it out. Every woman in my life told me this was a bad idea. Every man said it sounded awesome. It was awesome, although I really usually fair better when I listen to the women…”

The blog has some great photography and although I can go both ways on the HDR styling he is using, it is a good first person look into a regular day at Chernobyl.

Highlights from the 2007 Quality of Living Survey

Canadian, European and Australian cities continue to dominate the rankings this year, which saw little significant movement among the top 50 cities.

Zurich, Geneva, Vienna, Vancouver, and Auckland remain the top scoring cities on the Quality of Living index. One of this year’s biggest improvements has been in Osaka, rising 8 places to 42 from 51. Improvement was also seen in Oslo, which climbed five places from 31 to 26.

Boston comes in at 36 so I don’t feel so bad living here. However the other places on this list make me really want to travel.

It just felt like it was time to change the theme of the site, something more clean and inviting. So, welcome, again…
