Hello again. The sever has been powered off for the last 7 days during my recent move to Milford, MA. My wife and I purchased our first home and we are very happy. Frankly I could have turned the server on a week ago with only a few hours of downtime, but I have been so busy I just let it sit in the basement amongst the hundreds of boxes and toys in the playroom.

OK, so short but sweet. The next big event is twins in 2 weeks! Yep, thats just two weeks away. I will post again as soon as I get a moment to breathe.

_G104725As always an interesting month. What was up with the weather? And Easter, the earliest for the next 277 years 152 years.

Hampton and Gavin are growing at an alarming rate, Carrie and I are constantly amazed by their antics as I am sure you all know. So have a peek at this month’s photos and have a great April.

_G105061_resizeI visited Paula, Eric, and Addison this weekend and all is well. I have placed a few photos from the visit in the gallery. I will let Eric say the rest; below is an email Eric sent out when Addison was born:

Just wanted to let everyone know that Addison Noel Jondro was born Thursday March 27th at 12:58am. She weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and is 20 inches long. She is a perfectly healthy baby and so far minus the lack of sleep things are going well. Paula was in labor for almost two days and at times we didn’t think it was ever going to happen. Fourtanetly I have a wife who is a complete trooper and never gave up. She did have pain medication but that was it. The rest was done by paula just sticking to it and never having a doubt she was going to have this baby naturally. I must say that I never thought I would be able to hack the delivery but it was defiantly not as bad as I originally thought. Not that I had a choice seeing that it was just Paula a nurse and my self in the delivery room for most of the birth. This was one of the best moments in my life and no matter how cliché it sounds it was defiantly life changing. I just want to say thanks to everyone for supporting paula and I and we are looking forward to whatever the future is going to bring us.

First off Happy New Year!! Second I am happy to announce some new photos and a new theme. I feel like a million things happened this month. We went to the aquarium (twice), the children’s museum, and Virginia Beach (Carrie’s Mom’s house) for Christmas, and a million things in between. It has been a pretty busy and full month. Have a happy and safe new year and I hope you enjoy the snapshots.

Life is cruising by fast. Its almost Christmas time, my kids are growing up too fast, and I’m getting old. Its all been said before but I don’t care, I am saying it again. I just wanted to post because its been a while and I have been neglecting the site a bit. I have repaired the caching mechanism and tweaked apache a bit so the site should load 30% - 40% faster now which is nice.

I also just came back from a snowy trip to Rochester for Carrie’s grandmother’s funeral. Although funerals are a sad time they are also a good time to learn and celebrate as much as you can about someones life. I feel I did that and heard some fantastic stories and experiences from relatives.

I am looking forward to our next trip down to Virginia Beach for Christmas where we will be visiting Carrie’s mom. Expect some pictures soon, I have many, and take that moment to look around…believe it or not thousands of worlds are passing you by right now, sensing just a few of those at any given moment is an experience you should not pass up. There is more to life than you and we sometimes forget that.

_G101281 It was a fantastic month for photographs. The family and I went on many outings, the fall leaves are beautiful, and I have a new camera which I adore. Have fun perusing through the images. Its a mix of art and life (which are many times the same thing). So everything from Windsor Dam to Halloween is within the album, enjoy!

I am trying to utilize twitter to do all of my social networking updates for me. Seems to be working well for the moment. since everyone’s api is open I think I might utilize my skillz and build something. Its funny how I never program for the good of myself, just work. Anyway, just musing…too much to do and never enough time to do it is the moral here.

What is a GX10? Its really just a Pentax K10D digital SLR. Its a 10MP beast with every bell and whistle a geek photographer could ask for. I am very very happy with it. Anyway I have only had it about 5 days so here is the last few days of photos (click on the image). I am still getting adjusted to it so my style is all over the place.

As you can see I am also trying to get my blog attached to everything so that if people wish, they can pretty much see what I am up to the majority of the time, this is the new internet…though it does give me a headache at times it was very easy to do and is helping me to journal my day to day without much effort.

Update: Creating an October album which I moved these images into

Alrighty, another day, another crash :) The site is up and running again with yet another new theme. I am back with K2 out of sheer simplicity (I will reskin it when I get a chance). The header image I took the other night while shooting images for a contest I am running at work. It seems to fit in quite nice.

The short of it is that I was not paying attention to the site backup system and it began failing about 4 months ago. Now I have lost 4 months of posts (no photo loss, that process works great!) and a bit of site data. No biggie really, this site is about me and my family and what we are up to so I really don’t see any great loss; we are all still here. So poke around and feel free to send me a contact me with any questions or comments.

I have a new batch of photos comming soon, but til then, enjoy the over 3000 that are here now.
