Its been an up and down this holiday. Dealing with the madness of Thanksgiving into Christmas then first night. Its mayhem. The kids have really enjoyed themselves and they have definitely been taking advantage of daddy being home for the last two weeks. What I have learned this xmas is that with four kids its only going to get more insane as the years go on Somehow with enough love (and wine) we will make it. 240 photos fill this months 4 albums. We had apple picking, pumpkin decorating, Chris Keiper’s wedding, and general fall fun. Let me tell you, life is good. Exhausting, but good. The girls turned 3 months old just 2 weeks ago and we are enjoying every moment of it. They are both doing alot of smiling and cooing which is the best part of babies if you didn’t know Hampton is doing well in school and is as outgoing as always and Gavin is busy trying to be as much like his big brother as possible.

Carrie and I are constantly blown away by what life brings our way and as ridiculous as life gets sometimes, we are happier than ever. Call it the new house, the new babies, time, age, medication, or wine, we are glad to be in this time and place. Hopefully you too have the chance to enjoy that feeling and with thanksgiving right around the corner, perhaps you can spread some of it around.

April was a heck of a month. We had three birthday parties, a christening, friends from out of town, reviews at work, and more. I am happy with the way the month went, I was able to make some more money, took around 450 frames, and of course spend quality time with my amazing family. First off Happy New Year!! Second I am happy to announce some new photos and a new theme. I feel like a million things happened this month. We went to the aquarium (twice), the children’s museum, and Virginia Beach (Carrie’s Mom’s house) for Christmas, and a million things in between. It has been a pretty busy and full month. Have a happy and safe new year and I hope you enjoy the snapshots.

What is a GX10? Its really just a Pentax K10D digital SLR. Its a 10MP beast with every bell and whistle a geek photographer could ask for. I am very very happy with it. Anyway I have only had it about 5 days so here is the last few days of photos (click on the image). I am still getting adjusted to it so my style is all over the place.

As you can see I am also trying to get my blog attached to everything so that if people wish, they can pretty much see what I am up to the majority of the time, this is the new internet…though it does give me a headache at times it was very easy to do and is helping me to journal my day to day without much effort.
